Summary
Olympus Camedia C-50 zoom. The whole is a 5 megapixel digital compact camera with a three times optical zoom lens. The front of the camera is marked "Olympus Camedia Digital Camera C-50 Zoom". There are two blue and white stickers one reads "Megapixel 5.0 effective" and "Rechargeable Li-ion battery" and the other reads "Optical 3X zoom Seamless zoom 12X optical &digital, Movie mode Quicktime". The lens cover slide is also the power on switch. Under the cover the viewfinder focus sensor and lens. the camera body is marked "3X optical zoom" and the lens is marked "Olympic lens AF ZOOM 7.8 - 23.4 mm 1:2.8 - 4.8. The top of the camera has the shutter release button on the right hand side and around it is the zoom lever. The back of the camera has the view finder top left and working right the first button is the flash selector/delete, next is macro and focus/ protect file. Top right is the mode dial with the arrow pad and OK/ menu button below. Bottom left is the monitor screen and the quick view button. The right side of the camera has an attachment for a wrist or neckstrap with a neckstrap/lanyard attached and a flap covering the video out port and the USB port. The left side has a DC in port covered with an attached rubber/plastic cover The base of the camera has a tripod socket and the battery chamber. The battery and a memory card are in place. It is embossed with logos and words relating to XD picture cards Li-ion Battery and there is a white plate which reads “Olympus Optical Co Ltd, Digital camera DC 4.8v Model No C-50Zoom 116305123.”
