Summary
A Purma Special camera. The body is black bakelite with some metal internal fittings. This simple camera has a focal plane shutter and which of the three shutter speeds is used is determined by the orientation of the body. The lens potrudes from the body when the cover/lens cap is released. The lens is labelled 'Beck Anastigmat F6.3 , 21/4" '. The body has a white label 'Purma Special' and 'Made in England' although there is some doubt as it is thought to have been in Wales for and English distributor. Inside the back cover is stamped 'Patented in Gt.Britain Nos.430648/34, 445907/35, World Patents Applied for'.
