Summary
A carrying case/cover for a Pathé-Frères KOK 1912 28mm home cinematograph - hand-turned model with dynamo fed lamp The whole is of pressed and folded metal construction comprising 3 pieces, 2 end panels which are arched at the top and 1 large piece which comprising the long side and top domed case.On each long side there is painted decoration comprising a foliate border and a motif which comprises ribbon and leaves is a circle design around a picture of a cockerel beneath which is written - KOK marque deposee. Beneath along the left bottom of the case is written Pathé-Frères. Through the top and strengthen with a reinforcing bar there are 2 metal knobs which retain the bent metal bar of the carrying handle which has a turned wooden cover. Screwed to the bottom of each side panel is a long bolt with a spring clip which secures the cover to the base board.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
