Summary
Hand driven 35mm cine projector. Solid wooden base, the metal lamp house is mounted on a wooden slide and is illuminated by an electric light bulb. The flex is rubber and fabric covered 2 core with a wooden plug to fit into a standard bayonet electric light fitting The hand crank mechanism and the 35mm film management system is mounted on a solid cast iron chassis which is mounted to the base board. The film gate adjusts vertically and the film transport is by means of 2 clawed metal drums. The hand crank mechanism has a heavy metal fly wheel and cogs connecting to the lower film management drum and the chain drive mechanism to the upper drum. There is also a pulley on the lower axle that drives the lower film spool by means of a metal spring belt. The film spool holders fold into the machine for storage.
