Summary
Pathe Ace 9.5mm hand cranked cine projector. The whole is a metal case with black crackle finish. The back of the unit is plain, the left side, as in use, has a Bakelite lamp holder inserting through a hole. The right side has a panel which reads – Pathescope Ace, 9.5mm made in England Below is the hand crank mechanism. On the top of the unit is a demountable film spool holder which connects to the hand crank system with a spring drivebelt. To the front on the unit is a spring loaded film management spindle which aligns with the film gate on the front of the unit. The lens is mounted on the front of the unit with helical focus system.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
