Summary
A carrying case for a Bell & Howell Filmo 16mm Automatic cine projector. The whole is a sturdily constructed wooden box covered with black leather with thick leather reinforced corners on all 4 corners, top and bottom. The studs securing the corners act as feet to protect the bottom of the box. There is a ventilation hole on the left side as looking at the lock. There is additional reinforcement in the form of metal straps around the top of the box base and a very substantial hasp and staple briefcase style lock which is marked Corbin, made in the USA. The lid is hinged with 2 strong hinges which are riveted into place. On the top of the box there are 2 metal plates riveted to hold 2 D rings to which a substantial leather covered handle is attached. The inside of the box is fitted with wooden retaining blocks to fit the projector and the whole is covered with purple corduroy.
