Summary
Original metal carrying case for Optiscope No.10 lantern slide projector. Suitcase style construction with internal dividers and fitment. The lid appears to have been finished black. It is embossed with the words Optiscope, Made in England. It is fasten with 2 lockable spring loaded catches. On the top of the box there are 2 metal riveted metal staples holding 2 D rings and a very substantial leather had grip.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
