Full description
A Visual Information Services (V.I.S.) model 935 de luxe, compact 35mm film strip projector. The projector itself has a "tube-like" body which has an aluminium and bright chrome finish with a 3in helical focusing lens. A metal focusing lever is on the front right hand side. Half way down the body is a chrome sprocket, with a black plastic knurled turning wheel attached on the right hand side. Just behind this is a detachable brass metal band and a moveable elevated bar (to hold the film), with its own small black plastic knurled tightening wheel attached on the left hand side. Finally, at the end is a circular 12v 24w lamp, encased in a detachable metal semi-tube that is open to the rear and at the base. Into this base opening are the positive and negative electrical wire connections, each with their own small black plastic knurled tightening wheel. The body is attached to the wooden base by a small metal stand with 2 metal adjusting screws. The wooden base has a brass tripod fitting just behind the body. At the rear is an external electical connector and a large cicular electrical switch. At the front and rear of the base there is a brass strip to allow connection to the carrying case and its associated transformer. There are 4 plastic feet at the corners of the base. Markings: On the front left hand side there is a gold coloured rectangular transfer with a black border and black printing, " Model 935 (Patent Pending) V.I.S.
