Summary
Transformer for a Kodascope Model D cine projector. Oblong shaped transformer for Kodascopes. It has a solid metal base whith four feet. The two end plates connect to the base by means of the screws that hold the feet. The right end plate has the fitting for the lectricity input which take sthe form of two metal round pins. Each of the long sides are covered with pierced metal mesh and the sides curve up onto the top where they finish with log plates either side of the slide control knob. The slide is metal and has a pointer to indicate the voltage from 200 – 250 and a large plastic knob. The top plate reads “ VOLTS 250 240 230 220 210 200 KODAK LIMITED for all “KODASCOPES” using 300watt lamps Capacity of resistance 350 watts”. The lower plate reads “WARNING all connections must be made BEFORE current is switched on” There is a leather carrying handle attached to the tops of the end plates.
