Summary
Ernemann 35mm hand driven cine projector. With black japanned lamphouse, electric illuminant, on oak baseboard. Illumination is electric and the lamphouse is mounted on a pair of rails on which it can be moved in and out of alignment with the lens and film transport mechanism. Both the baseboard and lamphouse carry a logo/picture of a Greek goddess marked 'I.Schultzmarke'. The lamphouse is also marked 'Ernemann' whilst the baseboard has ' Ernemann Kinoptikon'. The handle crank drives the film sprockets and the upper coil via a chain drive. The mechanism also drives the shutter disc via a bevel gear. Focus is achieved through a chrome rack and pinion arrangement. The lens mount is marked 'Ernemann Werke RG Dresden'.
