Summary
Kalee 8 35mm projector mechanism. The unit is on a heavy cast iron frame mounted on a wooden baseboard. The complete film drive unit rises for loading and lowers into place by means of a large control arm. The shutter is geared fom the main drive and consists of a large flexible disc with two orifices, contained by a metal shield. The frame has the serial number 9471. The lens (catalogued separately) is held in a bracket which pivots into position. Both light and the drive to a pulley are external to the unit.
