Summary
Oil burning illuminant for a toy magic lantern slide projector. This is of pressed sheet metal and brass construction. It consists of a cylindrical metal fuel reservoir with a brass collar on topwhich holds the burner assembly. there is a knurled control which turns to raise and lower the wick. Above is is a pieced brass portion which allows air to mix and aid combustion. Then there is a brass collar which holds the glass chimney and finally the domed combustion are through which the wick may be accessed.
