Summary
A pair of Negretti & Zambra lantern slide projectors which consist of a rectangular metal body on a wedge shaped base. The body is pierced at the back to allow the illuminant to be accessed; there is a hinged side door on the left of one and right of second one to allow full access to the illuminant. The doors have a wire turnbuckle closure and both doors have the Negretti & Zambra motif. The illuminant is a spirit and wick burner consisting of a rectangular fuel reservoir with a reflector plate attached. The fuel outlet runs down into a small brass reservoir under a tubular wick holder. On each side the housing is a carrying handle. Built into the front panel is the tube containing the condenser lens, on the outside of the front is the spring loaded slide slot and a conical tube terminating in a brass lens mount for the objective lens which has rack and pin control, the lens which is missing. The main body of the slide projector has a domed roof and chimney.
