Summary
Illuminant for lantern projector - main body/burner. A square black metal base from which a brass tap is attached to one side. This tap lead through a pipe to a raised burner in the centre. The pipe work is soldered to the plate where the pipe enters and beneath the burner. The tap and burner are made of brass. Surrounding the burner the top of base has a number of small pierced holes and a raised flange on which the metal periscope type sits.
