Summary
Wooden box for Tyler Helioscopic Magic Lantern A simple wooden box painted brown on the outside with a large metal handle screwed onto the top. At the side are two metal rotating catches which would slide onto two small metal buttons, keeping the box closed. Two brass metal hinges to open the lid (currently detached) and on the inside of the lid a large paper label giving the instructions to be observed when using optical lantern with oil lamps.
