Summary
Printed instructions sheet for the "Negafake" photographic negative retouching outfit. A sheet of white paper (505 x 264 mm) printed in black ink on one side only. Details for use of the negative-erasing pencils ("a substitute for the retouching knife") for the purpose of thinning down, softening or removing dense portions of negatives; clearing or altering small shadows; reducing highlights and other small corrections. The two types of erasing pencils are described: No.1 for soft and delicate work and No. 2 for stronger effects. The lubricating mediums can be used with either pencil, for different effects; No. 1 for softer work, and No. 2 for more energetic and quicker finishing. Four degrees of retouching can be achieved by varying the combination of the pencils and lubricants.
