Summary
Wooden box to hold bottles of photographic developing chemicals. Lid with brass hinges and secured with two swivel catches. The interior of the box is divided into eight compartments, one of which has a raised base to accommodate a smaller bottle. Each compartment has strips of textile at the sides and base to protect the bottles and prevent them moving around. There is a brass handle on the top of the lid.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
