Summary
Brass weights for apothecary's beam and pan scale. 11 in total, of various types as follows: Thin rectangular grain weights: 3, 4, 5 and 6 grains respectively. Small round scruple weights: ½, 1 and 2 respectively. Round dram weights: ½, 1, 2 and 4 respectively. [Note: Apothecary weights differ from the avoirdupois system and are as follows: 20 grains = 1 scruple; 3 scruples = 1 dram; 8 drams = 1 ounce; 12 ounces = 1 pound]
