Summary
Protective carrying case for three Cooke cine camera lenses. This case is constructed of wood covered on the outside with canvas and with reinforced leather corners held by many dome topped nail/studs. the lid is hinged by an extension of the canvas. The closure on the front of the box is a lockable hasp and staple (brief case type) clip. There is a white paper label on the lid with the numbers 30 in reddish ink and 1317-8-9 in black. There are leather straps on the two sides and the bottom to secure a carrying strap which is not present. The front of the case has been stencilled PRFU 445. The interior is fiitted in blue plush fabric and has a covered wooden block for securing each lens by means of the attached leather straps which close by press studs.
