Summary
Three Eastman Kodak Diffusing Discs for f/4.5 lens. 50mm glass discs with patterned glass, surrounded by metal rims, upon which is written: "USA Pat. March 8, 1921. F4.5 Eastman Diffusing Disc. Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, NY, USA". Each one has a No. after the patent information; either No. 1, No.2 or No.3. Each has a screw knob on the side, with either a I, II or III printed on it.
Provenance
Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
