Summary
A darkroom accessory described by Fenton as a wetplate accessory and he thought it was used when handling daguerrotype plates. The object comprises of two flat metal plates spoon or spade shaped, one is 11mm longer than the other. They are riveted together in three places and the plates are separated at the working end to create a 2mm gap. the top plate is stambed Murray's Patent. Hill Makers, 4 Haymarket, London
