Summary
A Turl Spot Meter, comparison photometer. The unit is basically a chrome cylinder with an eyepiece at one end and a sliding extension. It was originally marketed as the Ainger Hall,and works by comparing the spot light intensity with that given by a standard illumination. The battery is contained within the cylinder. The end plate is stamped 'Spot Exposure Meter Pat. No. 508122 W.G.H.Turl.' The timings range 1/80000 sec to 5 hours.
