Summary
Wooden box for an Airspeed indicator camera. It is a sturdy well contructed wooden box. The lid hinges up and back on two brass hinges and there is a substantial metal clasp closure. The outside of the box is painted drab airforce blue and has stencelled inthe top in white, "Air Speed Indicator Camera No K125 Admiralty Patt No 2410". There is a paper sticker on the lid with printed "1942 C/249". On the left side is painted in "Yellow H.Q.17." and on the front of the box in red the number "4". Inside the box is unpainted, in the base is a circle of wood that the camera mount fits over and inside the lid is a pad of felt to ensure a snug fit.
