Summary
Two sided plate holder for W. Watson & Sons Premier studio camera. This is a mahogany frame which hinges in two at the bottom. Each side has a mahogany cover slide. To the bottom of frame two is attached a metal sceen which divides the two plate holder compartments and on each side of this plate is a spring to keep the assembled frames and plates secure. The whole comes together and is secured by 4 hinged clips. On the outside each half is numbered on a small ivory plaque, ! and 2.
