Summary
Carrying case for W. Watson & Sons Premier studio camera. The case is constructed of heavy leather in three main pieces, the sides are single pieces but the top back bottom and front are cut as one. N.B. the lid has separated from the rest of the box and has been further damaged in that a side panel has been broken off and both closure straps and the main closure tab have all suffered damage. There is a strong leather handle attached to the lid and it is likely that the weight of the equipment proved too great for the straps and lid though the handle was secure enough. The whole is lined with green beize or felt and has compartments and dividers to keep the equipment secure.
