Summary
Leather case for a W. Watson & Sons studio camera This is a heavy duty leather case reinforced throughout the main body with canvas lining. It is constructed using three main pieces of leather, the front, the top and back and the two sides and the bottom. The lid is secured by two straps with buckles attached to the front and there are similar buckles on each side to take a carrying strap (which is missing).

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
