Summary
A Kodak No 4 Panoram Camera. The body is wooden covered with black leather. There are no markings but a leather carrying handle on the side and a tripod mount on the base. The fixed focus lens is surrounded by a flexible leather shield and a chrome lever on the top adjusts the shutter. The top also has spirit level and a brilliant viewfinder as well as the shutter release button. The chrome viewfinder shield is marked ‘Kodak’. The lens has an aperture f10 and focal length 5 inches. Inside: The curved focal passage/film carrier is wooden and is printed ‘ No 4 Panoram – Kodak Pat. Sept. 25 1994 Other Pats applied for’. It continues ‘Made by Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A.. The camera uses 103 film with format 3½ x12 inches.
