Summary
A Mackenzie-Wishart patent Daylight Slide, quarter plate size. The plate is held in a plastic and cloth 'envelope', which is placed into a wooden 'adapter',which fits onto the camera back. The adapter is a wooden box with a hinged lid, and has a wooden drawslide which is pulled out to expose the plate. There is a yellow plastic window in the adapter to allow the user to check that the plate has been exposed. Markings; "Mackenzie-Wishart Patent Daylight Slide, Mackenzie & Co Glasgow" on a plate on the wooden adapter
