Summary
A Sanderson Regular Model folding plate camera (quarter plate size), with Dogmar f4.5 lens and compound shutter. The camera features Sanderson's patent 'Universal Swing Front' which allows the lens board to be moved vertically, tilted, and moved forward and back in a single movement. The bellows have double extension and the lens is mounted on a rack and pinion rising front. An Adams brilliant finder is mounted on the baseboard. The camera body is of wood covered in black leather, with mahogany baseboard and lens board and brass fittings, and black leather bellows. The camera back is detachable and includes a ground glass screen and viewing flap. Markings; On lens board, a plate marked "The Sanderson, H Ltd London", and under the lens /shutter a plate marked "Regular Model" Under the camera top, a plate "British Made, Ensign Trade Mark" On the lens "C.P.Goerz Berlin No. 369477 Dogmar 1:4.5 F=125mm D.R.P." On the shutter "D.R.G.M. No 371939" On the brilliant finder ""Adams & Co London" On the Swing Front struts" "Sanderson's Patent", and serial number 24115
