Summary
A Newman and Guardia Nydia folding plate camera. The body is wooden and holds six glass plate holders together with a spring loaded back. There is a device for changing plates using a leather pouch which is integral with the camera body. The bellow is leather but the means of support is missing from this camera. Also missing is the lens. The serial number 681 inside the back plate. The changing box holds eight plates. There is a two direction spirit level mounted on the body. A metal plate on the rear reads 'Newman & Guardia Ltd. 17 & 18 Rathbone Place, Oxford Street, London W'
