Summary
A Kodak Premoette Senior vertical format folding bed camera for filmpacks, 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch size, with a Kodak Anastigmat f7.7 lens, Kodak Ball Bearing shutter and brilliant viewfinder. The camera body is of metal with black leather covering, with black leather bellows, and has a black leather strap. Markings; Stamped inside the backplate - "Premoette SR 2 1/2 x 4/1/4", listing of patents, and "Manufactured by Eastman Kodak Rochester N.Y. U.S.A" Stamped in on the leather strap "Premoette SR" Metal plate attached to body side with "The Westminster Photographic Exchange Ltd. London" Folding bed has a metal plate for adjusting the focussing distance (by sliding the bellows in or out), marked in feet and metres Metal plate attached to front of shutter marked "Kodak Ball Bearing Shutter", with US patent details, exposure and shutter speed indicators, and also "EKC" logo and serial number 14678.
