Summary
Kodak Premo film pack adapter. The Premo adapter consists of a wooden frame with a metal door through which a film pack could be loaded and a slot through which the film tabs protrude. There is a black bakelite dark slide, etched with the logo: "The Premo Camera, Pat. July 29, 1890". The metal edge by the film tab slot is stamped with "Premo Film Pack Adapter". Inside the metal door is stamped a list of patent details for Canada, Britain, France, Germany and USA.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
