Summary
A Ernemann Haag XII model3 folding plate camera. The main body is wooden covered with black leather, the baseboard is metal and the fittings are chrome. The bellows is black leather and there are two viewfinders, one fitted with a spirit level. The baseboard has a focussing scale to one side and the centre has a logo and the lettering. 'haag-12 ser 3. Ernemann-Werke A-G Dresden'. The screw mounted lens assembly is integral with the shutter which has seven speeds to 1/100 sec plus Z. Apertures range f6.8-f30. The lens is marked 'D.R.F. Ernmann Anastigat Ernmar 1:6.8 No 1.6 135mm 63801'. This number also appears on the rear of the lens mount. The lens plate is also removable and is stamped 487. There is a rise/tilt facility. At the rear of the camera is a removable ground glass focussing screen complete with hood. There are two tripod mounts and a leather carrying handle.
