Summary
No.3 Series D Eastman Kodak folding plate camera. Wooden body covered in black leather. Black leather handle on top, stamped with "No.3 Eastman Plate Camera Series D. Eastman Kodak Co. Rochester, NY, USA". Dark maroon leather bellows. Brilliant finder. Bausch & Lomb Rapid Rectilinear lens and shutter marked "Unicum". Metal catch on reverse opens flap to access ground glass focusing screen. Inside hood of flap is printed: "No.3 Series D Eastman Plate Camera. Patents applied for. Manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co. Rochester, NY, USA" Tripod bush in baseplate.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
