Summary
Two double dark slide photographic plate holders for Kodak Premo No.9 folding plate camera. Block form with draw slides. Wooden frame, plastic slides. Inner dividing section is a brick-red colour and is stamped with a large circular logo: "The Premo Camera". Beneath this is printed in black ink: "Premo Plate Holder will fit all Premo Cameras Manufactured by Rochester Optical Division Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, N.Y." followed by patent information. One of the slide holders is numbered 1 and 2 respectively on each side. The other is not numbered but it has information stamped into the dark slides: "4¾ x 6½ Premo Plate".

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
