Summary
A Debrie Sept Cine Camera/Projector. The name Sept ("seven" in French) was perhaps an allusion to the seven functions of the camera: still camera, sequential camera, cine camera, still projector, cine projector, enlarger and cine transfer machine. The motor casing is removable. The body is all metal with a brilliant viewfinder at the top. The different settings of the shutter allow for cine, bulb or instantaneous (about 1/60 sec). A roll of film would allow 250 exposures of 18x24mm. Above the lens panel, the body is stamped 'Societe Francaise Sept Paris' and lower on the front is a logo and the inscription 'Construit par les Etablishments And re Debrie Paris' and 'Made in France'. The serial number is also stamped 'O 04012' The lens is marked 'H.Rousel Paris 40326 Stylor f3.5 F=50'. There is a leather lens cap.
