Summary
A brown leather case for Stereax strut-folding stereo plate camera by Contessa Nettel of Stuttgart, Germany. The case is lined in purple velvet and is separated into two interior sections, for camera and dark slides. Brown leather strap with metal buckle runs under the base, secured by a leather loop fixing. Metal clasp for flap of lid, with lock (no key present). Inside the lid is a loop within shich is secured the shutter release cable, made of black cord and metal. Markings: handwritten in pencil on inside of flap is what appears to be a name (illegible), followed by "New York". Dymo tape affixed on frontnext to clasp: "Stereax S/75". No markings to indicate manufacturer of the case. Probably also Contessa Nettel.
