Summary
Thornton-Pickard roller blind shutter with cover for Perken Son and Rayment Optimus folding plate camera. The removable cover, held in place with brass clasps, reveals a lens mount larger than the lens accompanying camera. The shutter has a single blind between two rollers top and bottom, with a cog wheel attached to the upper roller. The wheel is inscribed with speeds 1/80 - 1/15. T and I settings are inscibed on the pointer plate.The release cord is at the top of the shutter.

A part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
