Summary
Box and lid for shutter that attaches to Perken Son and Rayment Optimus camera. The box and lid are made of faded tan-coloured card. The corners are joined and reinforced metal corner stays. Markings: on one side of lid is a smudged ink hand-written notation containing words and numerals. Only the markings '2", 5, and 12/' are legible.

A part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
