Summary
Folding field camera, quarter plate size. Mahogany body with brass fittings. Black coated card bellows. Brown leather carry strap on top. Hinged back with ground glass screen for focusing. Double extension leather bellows adjusted by rack and pinion gearing with a rising and falling front. A built-in turntable for ease of tripod mounting. Achromatic f/11 lens with rotating stops. The camera is very similar to the MB No. 2 from Marlow Brothers of Birmingham. Marlow made largely for the trade which may account for this camera not carrying a name plaque.
