Summary
A Griffiths Detective camera in the shape of a carrying case. The camera is made of cardboard covered in black leather. The lens housing is wood. There are brass hinges and other metal trims. There is a guillotine shutter. The top hinges to one side to change the plate holders. There is a leather handle and a twisitng clasp to close the top. The front is also hinged. Inside the top is 'Patentee and sole manufacturer Walter Griffiths, Highgate Square Birmingham'.
