Summary
A Dallmeyer Speed miniature folding plate camera. The lens is a Dallmeyer Pentac f2.9 and it has a rising front. On the outer mount of the lens is a serial number which is not legible. The body is metal covered with black leatherette and the bellows is black leather. The lens plate is supported by chrome struts The shutter is focal plane with speeds 1/8-1/1000sec.6leather. There is a frame finder. Apertures range f2.9-f16. The image size is 4.5x6cm. The base plate has stamped 'Dallmeyer Speed Camera'. Also stamped is ' D195 Brit Pat 8721-2 Amer Pat 1088492 Rg No 604414 British Manufacture.' The initials 'DS' are also stamped on the baseboard. There are two tripod bushes.
