Summary
A Newman & Guardia Baby Sibyl folding camera taking plate or filmpacks. The body is metal and the bellows is black leather. The lens plate is supported by chrome struts. The lens is marked 'Ross, London Patent 75 mm Xpres 1:4.5 No 94918' The simple shutter has settingsT,B with speeds 1/2 to 1/200 second and apertures range f4.5-f22. The front plate shows 'N&G Baby Sybil' and '17 & 18 Rathbone Place, London W.' On the baseplate are the British and American Patent numbers:'Brit Pat 8721-2' 'Amer Pat 1088492' then is engraved 'Rg No 604414 British Manufacture B891'. The camera is in a soft leather pouch.
