Summary
A C.P. Goerz Vest Pocket Tenax folding camera, made in 1908. The camera takes 4.5 x 6 cm glass plates. It has a metal body covered in black leather, with black leather bellows which unfold by means of 4 corner struts. The top struts slide downwards and the bottom upwards to collapse the bellows. Metal lens mount contains Goerz Anastigmat Dagor 75mm f6.8 lens, a compound shutter with speeds of 1-1/250, and an aperture control dial from f6.8 to f32. The finder pulls out of the front, a direct view collapsible finder is at the back, and a focusing dial to right hand side. Markings: model, manufacturer, place of manufacturing and patent number are marked on front in white under lens. Aperture setting markings are marked above lens
