Summary
A Kodak No 1A Pocket folding rollfilm camera. The shutter is marked 'Kodex no 1' and has two speeds plus T and B settings. It carries the marking ' Shutter made in Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A by Eastman Kodak Co.' Apertures range f6.3 to f45. The lens mount is marked 'Kodak Anastigmat F6.3 127mm No 35209'. The body is metal covered with black leatherette and the bellow is black leather. The inside of the body has a list of patents granted in USA, Canada, Australia and Britain, the latest being 1921. There is an autographic feature and the rollfilm size is 116. Embossed on the rear is an instruction to use Kodak 116 film. There is a rotating brilliant viewfinder and a cable release. A distance scale is marked on the baseboard to aid focusing and the running rails are chrome. There are two tripod bushes. The manufacturer's plate reads ' No 1A Pocket Kodak Made in USA by Eastman Kodak Company Rochester N.Y.' A black leather carrying handle is embossed 'Kodak'.
