Summary
A Leica 1 camera. It has a metal body covered in black leatherette with chrome fittings.It has a focal plane shutter with seven speeds up 1/500 sec. The film advance knob also sets the shutter. The (interchangable) lens is an Elmar f3.5 50mm. The lens is marked 'Leitz Elmar f1:3.5 F=50mm.' Apertures range f3.5-f18. There is a black plastic lens cap on which there is embossed 'Leica'. On top of the body is 'No 147426'. Focusing distances are in feet and the mount is marked 'Germany'. The shutter knob has the legend 'Ernst Leitz D.R.P. Wetzlar'
