Summary
A Wirgin Edinex v.1, 35mm camera Flat top plate with a small viewfinder, two wind knobs, a frame counter and two little wheels that served as a rewind switch and a double exposure prevention reset, respectively. In addition there was a rather odd-looking accessory post next to the viewfinder to which a rangefinder could be fitted. Telescoping front and front-cell-focusing. Film loads from the bottom. Wirgin lens f3.5, 5cm focal length Metal covered in black leather. Markings: 'F Deckel Munchen' and Compur on shutter. 'Gewironar 1: 3,5 1-5 cm Wirgin Wiesbaden' on lens Embossed on leather back 'Germany' On white label attached to bottom of camera 'c.1935 c/200' handwritten in black ink.
