Summary
An Argus model A 35mm camera. It has an Argus Anastigmat f4.5 50mm lens in a collapsible mount. This is an early model with fixed pressure plate and sprockets on one side of film. It has a bakelite body and steel back. The shutter has four speeds up to 1/200 and B,T. The body is black with chrome fittings and the lens has the markings 'Argus - Ilex - Precise I.R.C.F.-4.5 Anastigmat' There is a geomtric pattern on the rear.
