Summary
Coronet Cub miniature camera. Plastic bodied with metal top housing and bottom plate, strap eyelets and folding optical finder. Silver coloured shutter face. Single speed 1/25 shutter. Sprung telescoping front. Uses 828 film. Film advance indicated by red window. Markings: Shutter face marked "Coronet, Made in England" at top and "Cub" at bottom. Exterior of camera is covered with white mould.
Provenance
Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
