Summary
Mackenzie-Wishart Daylight Slide envelope system for photographic plate holder. A set of six black plastic envelopes with sliding black fabric backed pockets, contained in a faded black cotton bag with triangular flap. The pockets are reinforced with thin wooden batons and the slide protected with a black velvet strip at the opening. Each envelope has a fabric pull tab and an ivory disc button into which is carved and coloured in black a roman numeral as follows: "XII, XI, X, IX, VIII, VII". For use with plate envelope 1524590.2
